I’M GOING ON A TRIP
AND I’M GOING TO BRING ...

The newspaper De Standaard hosts an annual ad competition for non-profits. Every summer, the twenty best print ads are featured on the last page of the quality newspaper. A jury decides who wins the Standaard Solidarity Prize.

To raise awareness for Vluchtelingenwerk Vlaanderen, a non-profit organization for refugees, we came up with a heart-wrenching print ad.

With a twist on the popular family game “I’m going on a trip...”, we created an emotional visual. It showed the contents of the bag of Fariha, a 28-year old mother, who left Aleppo with her baby. The bag is all she could take with her on her journey.
